Naruto looked out the window at the stormy outside. "A flood warning? Maybe I should go out and see if there is anything I can do." Naruto continued to stare out the window before looking at them.
Naruto sat at the table and put a huge grin on his face. "I'm not coming down with a cold, it was just a sneeze." As he said this his face wrinkled and he sneezed again. He blinked and looked at her.
"Ahh I'm fine." He looked stubbornly at his drink and soup. He picked up the spoon quickly and started taking spoonful after spoonful. He suddenly dropped the spoon and put his hands on his throat. "Hot hot!" His tongue stuck out which was bright red.

Calla sighed and finished cooking as Naruto went upstairs. She stirred the soup and as the kettle whistled. She made all three of them hot coco with mini marshmallows. Reed squealed in joy, abandoning her coloring to drink her coco. The phone rang and Calla answered it quickly.
"Hello?" she said. "Cal? Hey," said a male voice. Calla relaxed, recognizing the voice as her brother. "Where are you? You were supposed to be home half and hour ago." "I'm staying the night at Ryu's. Theres a flood warning." "Ok..." she said, sighing. "You and Reed stay inside, okay Cally?" he said, worried. "Okay bro. Bye. Stay safe." "You too sis. Bye."
Calla hung up the phone and told Reed. The little girl nodded and sat back down with her coco. Calla was just serving up hot soup when Naruto came downstairs.
"Your getting a cold," she said, putting a bowl of soup and some hot coco in front of him. Calla sat down as Reed started to eat happily.
"My brother called. Theres a possible flood warning," she relayed.

When Callla became more fierce in her orders Naruto's eyes grew wide and sweat rolled down the side of his face. "Yes maim." He was up and out of the kitchen quickly but he slowed down as he made it out. He let out a sigh of relief and looked around.
"Right she said up the stairs and on the left. The left." He found the stairs and made his way slowly up them. Once on the top he opened the door to his left and quickly went inside. After stripping of his wet clothes he found a pair of black pants and a white t-shirt and quickly put them on. He looked himself over and let out a loud groan.
"Not the best but it's something." He picked up his clothes. Before joining them he made sure to put the clothes in the hamper as she instructed and found his way back into the kitchen. He sneezed then sniffed.

Calla rolled her eyes. men. They can be so god damn stubborn. But then again, who was she to talk? She heated water in a kettle and in a pot, adding soup ingredients to the pot.
"Whatever. Just change into the damn clothes. I can run your's in the wash and dryer with mine. Besides, your dripping water and mud all over my freshly mopped floor," Calla said, tucking a stray, wavy strand of hair behind her ear. She looked up at the clock. Her older brother should be on his way, but it's very well possible that he could be late due to the rain. She turned to Naruto.
"His room is just up the stairs and on the left. Pick out anything you want. And i wont take no for an answer," she said, a fiercness in her green eyes. They weren't the same emerald green anymore, but speckled with what looked like gold. It gave her a otherworldly beauty to her eyes.
"Go. Just toss your clothes in the hamper by my door," she instructed before going back to making them all some soup. She kept glancing at the clock, worried about her brother. She saw lightning flash more outside her window and she heard thunder roar. She hated nights like this. They never seemed to end well for her. She went back to making the soup, trying not to let her mind wander into darker thoughts.

Naruto watched the kid when she ran to get changed. He gave her a smile and sat down at the table, his pants and jacket dripping onto the floor under neath him. He looked up when he heared her foot steps getting closer.
"Your brother? I wouldn't want to impose." Naruto didn't usually wear any clothes other then his jump suit and his under clothes of course but never a strangers. Naruto let out a loud laugh. "I should be fine, I won't catch a cold I'm to strong for that."

Calla saw him walking beside her, appearing to be deep in thought. She stopped in front of her house, shaking from the cold, her teeth already chattering. She unlocked the door and stepped into the bright, warm kitchen. Reed was at the table, her blond hair pulled up in a messy ponytail. She was dressed in her cute, pink flannel pajamas with little kittens all over them. She looked up from her coloring book when they entered.
"Ane-chan? Why are you covered in mud?" Reed asked. Calla went over to her little sister and kissed the to of her head.
"I fell. Redd, this is Mr. Uzumaki. Be nice to him while I go change, okay?" Calla said. Reed nodded and smiles at Naruto. Calla went upstairs, muddy clothes still in her hands. She reached her room and dumped the clothes into into the hamper. She peeled off the pants and wet tank top, throwing them in. Dismayed, she found that her bra was wet and shed that as well, quickly replacing it with a new one. She pulled on a tight-ish purple shirt and some short, black shorts. Calla pulled her hair into a sleek pony and satisfied that she wasn't muddy or wet, she padded down the stairs and back into the kitchen. She went over to the stove, intending to make something warm.
"You can use some of my brothers clothes if you like, so you don't have to stay in those muddy clothes," Calla suggested.

Naruto jumped almost ten feet in shock when the lightning lit up the entire street where the two had been standing in the middle of. He put a hand on the back of his head and let out a nervous laugh as if he didn't do anything embarrassing just now. When he noticed she wasn't paying attention to him and she was walking away he quickly fallowed.
His head went left to right looking up at the gray and black clouds as they stretched for miles a crossed each direction. Such ominous clouds, if they hadn't been going on for days he would think they were a sign of evil that was approaching, they would have to be pretty slow villains. Sasuke...this gloomy weather reminded him of his promise to Sakura, he needed to find Sasuke and the time is almost up when Orochimaru will need Sasuke's body.

Calla let out only a small grunt as he warned her against getting a cold. She was just fine. She listened to him talk as she removed her wool gloves. Amazingly, her hands were mud-free. She used one hand to push her now-wet hair from her face as he introduced himself. She nodded at him.
"I'm Calla Kyozaki," she said. She nodded and bundled up her coat and gloves into a muddy ball. She swept away more of her hair as she saw lightning flash, thunder following close behind.
"Come on. You can come to my house until the storm lets up. I live close," she said. Without waiting for an answer, Calla turned and walked back toward her house, keeping her head down so that the rain wouldn't get in her face. As she walked, she stared to shiver lightly, her bare arms slowly freezing.

Naruto took her hand and pulled himself up and let out a sound of annoyance as mud splashed down onto the ground. "This is one horrible storm, how could it be going on for days now?!" Naruto looked at her take off her jacket and his eyes widened. "Are you crazy? You'll catch a cold that way."
Naruto looked left to right as if there would be some place to get out of the rain but because of the huge amount of rain many of the shops were closed, not many customers when it rains he guessed. "I've never seen it like this before, I doubt it rain's this much in the Hidden Rain Village!" Naruto laughed at his own stupid joke then looked at the girl again.
"I've never seen you around here before. I'm Naruto Uzumaki, the next Hokage!" He pointed at himself with a huge grin on his face, he had completely forgotten about the rain. "Oh yeah the rain, we should get somewhere dry quick."
